EARLY LIFE
Sulaimon Shekoni Abiola who is popularly known with his stage name Khaid was born on the 10th of December 2004.
Into the family of Mr & Mrs Abiola in Oja, Lagos State Nigeria.
From his name and place of birth, you can tell Khaid is of the Yoruba extraction, a southern tribe in Nigeria.
Growing up Khaid spent most of his life in Lagos state Nigeria, where he lived with his parents & seven other siblings.
Khaid parents where a middle class parents, but the fact they had lots of children.
Made it a little bit taxing providing for Khaid and his other siblings.
Right from when he was little it was obvious Khaid was a lover of music.
As he spent most his childhood writing songs and listening to the likes of Psquare, Wizkid, 2 Baba, Face, Olamide, Burna Boy & a host of other Nigeria musician which he admired.
EDUCATION
Even though Khaid parents where not that wealthy, they made sure their children Khaid inclusive.

CAREER
Right from the onset it was obvious that Khaid always wanted to be a musician.
And he didn’t career to show off is talent at any single opportunity he was given or to anybody who cared to listen.
This also made him a popular figure in his secondary school.
As he was always thrilling his friends & school mate with he very good & sleek rap flows.
Which got him lots of praises & admiration especially from the female gender in his school.
Khaid also performed at every social gathering in his secondary school.
This didn’t only make him more popular but also helped him in building stage confidence.
Khaid didn’t stop there, he also made lot’s of videos where he drops Freestyle or covers on popular trending song.
And he also posted this video on various social media platforms.
Little by little his videos started gaining views & administration, he also began to build little fan base.
It was in the year 2021 that Khaid life changed for the good.
As one of his video gained the attention of popular comedian, media personality & connect creator Sydney Talker.
Who at that time just launched a new record label music Neville Records.
And he was still in search of his first artist to sign to the label.
Sydney Talker on seeing Khaid viral video, decided this is the person he is looking for.
Without wasting time, he reached out to Khaid.
Early 2022 Sydney Talker was able to Convince Khaid to join his record label.
As he saw so many potential in the young talented musician.
Sydney Talker than took to all his social media platform to announce Khaid as his newest artist to his record label.
In addition to Khaid joining Neville Records he also dropped his first official music which he titled “With You”.
On the release of the song “With You” it became an instant hit song, as not only was it buzzing on social media.
It was also causing commotion on the streets of Lagos.
Fast forward to today, Khaid has released a couple of amazing songs which includes Jolie, Carry You Featuring Boy Spyce.
The success he has gained over a year of doing music, has gained him Headies Award 2023 nomination for the Rookie Of The Year.
Along side other artist including Odumodublvck.
Khaid is also know as KK as he always announces in couple of his songs.
Just one year in the music industry, he has been able to build him self a loyal fan base of mostly Gen Z and they well known as Shleet Gang.
